The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff Station Jail is operated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

  • You may visit an arrestee/inmate at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff Station Jail who has not been sentenced, Monday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You may visit inmate trustees who are also known as worker trustees on Saturday, Sunday and on holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff Station Jail's visiting hours and roster of inmates who are eligible for visits vary and are subject to change without notice. Thus, you should always call the Jail before visiting.

  • Attorneys, bail bondsmen and members of the clergy may visit at any time for as long as they like.

  • IMPORTANT: After about 24 to 48 hours, the arrestee/inmate will be transferred to another jail. This transfer usually leads to a longer time in Jail, resulting in anywhere from 12-24 hours as additional paperwork is conducted. To avoid the extra jail time, we always recommend that the bail bond process should be initiated as soon as possible, so the defendant can avoid the transfer process altogether.
